Accreditation Process

ACCJC has established a comprehensive set of standards against which colleges are periodically evaluated to ensure and monitor the quality of education provided by the institution. These standards are divided into four categories: institutional mission and effectiveness; student learning programs and services; resources (human, physical, technology, and financial); and leadership and governance.

The college regularly undergoes a comprehensive self-study to assess how well it meets accreditation standards. This process involves the entire campus, culminating in a detailed self-study report. Following the report, ACCJC sends a team of peer evaluators—educators from other colleges—to visit 91ÖØ¿Ú, validate the self-study, and assess the college’s adherence to accreditation standards. The team submits a report with their findings and a confidential recommendation to ACCJC, which determines the college's accreditation status.

In addition to this comprehensive review, the college submits midterm evaluation reports midway through the cycle and annual reports to ACCJC to ensure ongoing compliance.
